In my opinion I like this kind of English as the teacher knew him already, although some colleagues do not, I fast friedship with them.
Books are not in very good conditio but the important thing is the content, so the class of more fine.
All my opinions are good except one, I think the teacher sends too much work for the blog.

Acteón y las ninfas
Acteón Was, in Greek mythology, a famous hunter initiated in this art by the centaur Chiron, also a teacher of Achilles. Son of Aristeo and Autonoe in
Boeotia , suffered the wrath of Artemis. The story also is told by Hyginus , Pausanias
, Euripides , Calímaco and Aeschylus , among other classic authors.
Another version of the legend , Acteón
boasted of being better hunter than Artemisa , so it transformed him into a
deer that was devoured by his own hounds. There are parallels between the story
of Actaeon and blindness of Tiresias , who lost his sight as punishment for
seeing naked Athena.
Artemis , devoted to chastity, was bathing naked in the fields near the city of Orcómeno beocia woods
when Actaeon found casually. He stopped and stared at her , fascinated by her beauty transferor . As punishment ,
Artemis turned him into a stag by the desecration
of seeing her nakedness and her virginal mysteries , and sent the hounds of Actaeon ,
fifty themselves to be killed . These did pieces and ate their flesh , then look for
his master by the forest , sobbing. Then , they found the centaur Chiron , who , to comfort ,
built a statue of her late owner. According to Ovid in The Metamorphosis .
the goddess was accompanied by his entourage of nymphs.

The
Art Contemporary Centre is a part of this new Soho and it's one of
the most popular places althought, the most important characteristic
is that the art is exposed in the street and you don't have to go to

On the other hand, the plane is the most expensive vehicle and it contaminates a lot because it spend a lot of oil.

FAMINE
Famine is one of the worst problems in
the world. A lot of people suffer this in many countries. The majority
are in Africa, Asia and South America. These pople hasn't got anything
to eat because they have not money to buy it. Each day die 6.400
children. Between 2011 and 2013 the famine has afected to 842 million of
people in the world.
The solutions of the problem are to increase the production of the food
and commercialize it. Another solution is to share the money of the
richest countries to the poorest ones.
We could help them donating money or giving food to the ONGs for the children.
Besides we could organize charitables football matches or with another sports.

CHRISTMAS STORY 1
It`s the morning of
Christmas Day. Mr. Bull, a lonely, rich, old man is looking at the
big Christmas
tree in one of the
corners of his huge dining room. There are no presents under the tree
that one of the house servants has decorated. The old man sits down
and dozes off: he dreams of other Christmas Days during his
childhood, when he was poor but happy. He wakes up and begins to
accept that once again he will spend Christmas Day all alone.
The door bell rings: it`s a totally unexpected visit that cheers
up his spirit and somehow changes him forever.
- Hello!
- Hi! How are you?
- Bad because I'm going to be alone on Christmas.
- It's not a problem because we're going to be together because we were friends when we were young.
- Ok, but I haven't got any present for you.
- It doesn't matter but I have to give you my present!
(Dialogue between Mr
Bull and The Visitor)
CHRISTMAS STORY 2
Ana and David are a
middleaged couple with two grown up children. They are
sitting in their kitchen on Christmas Eve. They have just had
another bitter argument. David has just told Ana that maybe they
should separate since their relationship seems to be
deteriorating so badly. Ana starts crying.
After a while she opens
an envelope sent by her doctor. It says she is pregnant. Ana looks at
David.
…... She doesnt know
what to say.
(Dialogue between Ana
and David)

is really desperate: he has no money to pay for his rent, or
his children`s school books and clothes. If they don`t go hungry
it`s thanks to some help from relatives.
One day, Martín goes
to the toilet at the railway station. He then notices a
briefcase propping against the wall. He picks it up and opens it. He
can`t believe his eyes: the briefcase contains a lot of money. At
first he thinks he is a lucky man. He thinks that all that money will
solve his problems but after a few minutes he is not so sure about it
all. There`s a big doubt in his head. Should he keep it?
(Dialogue between
Martín and Martin´s wife)
CHRISTMAS STORY 4

for a while and suddenly he can`t help starting to sob and feeling
really bitter when the memories filled his mind. Rosa, one of the
supermarket girls sees Mario and asks him if he is all

I have a
normal diet, not a bad diet but it isn't the perfect one. I eat normal
food trying to change it every day. I don't eat too much sweets and
things which have much sugar but I drink fizzy drinks and maybe I eat
too much cheese!
I don't
play many sports because I am not a big fan of any of them but I have PE
classes so I have to do some if I want a good mark. We usually play
football, which I hate the most or basketball that it is quite
interesting. In the summer I sometimes play volleyball at the beach with
my friends and I would like to try skiing or some sport related with
snow but it isn't easy to try it in my city because here there isn't too
much snow!
During the
week I go walking to school and also at weekends I often go for a ride
bike with my family, something that I like a lot because it is a
wonderful time with them and also very healthy.
My neighborhood
TASK #3:
Instructions: Please, use the visual information contained in the video of the link below to compare this area (El Palo) many years ago and now. How has it changed?
Use the form in exercise 4, page 27 in the book to help you.
I live in a neighborhood called El Palo which is very close to the centre of my city, Málaga. This area has changed a lot over the past fifty years.
In the past the area was smaller than it is now. It was a rural area, the suburbs of the city and there used to be some houses but not too many in the present-day centre. Nowadays there are lots of block of flats and some housing states.
Most of the people that were living in El Palo used to work like fishermen, because the area is next to the beach. In the present the minority of the people work in that, many of them commute to the centre of the city.
There didn't use to be many transports that communicate El Palo with other places, the only transport that it used to be was a little tram. But now, most of people have cars and their own transport but also there is a bus service for the ones who don't have.
Our neighborhood has changed a lot but in my opinion is much better now
